As of April 2, 2026, notable advancements have been achieved at the NCDP construction site, overseen by NCDP-Muryamwete Construction Company. The team is working diligently to adhere to the project deadline scheduled for August 2026.
Current Status of Construction:*
1. Bakery Facility Infrastructure: The bakery facility is nearing completion, with approximately 90% of construction finalized. This facility is anticipated to be instrumental in enhancing local food production and improving community nutrition.
2. Upcoming Infrastructure: The foundation for the next phase of construction has been successfully completed. This new structure will encompass various essential services, arranged across upper and lower levels:
- Upper Level Services:
- NCDP-TV Masango Head Office: This will function as the central hub for broadcasting and media operations.
- Two Offices for NCDP Human Resources: These offices will support the administrative needs of the project.
